Legal Conflicts Executive

Key duties and responsibilities of the Legal Conflicts Executive are:

  • Reviewing new business intake requests and collating results for conflicts checks with resolutions and clearance on all issues
  • Researching new client matters, coding of engagement letters to establish guidelines and documenting all actions on the conflicts database
  • Working closely with the Ethics Committee, firm attorneys and all levels of firm administration, ensuring all levels of administration are in line with the firm policy guidelines
  • Assist the Conflicts Supervisor with training Conflicts Analyst Assistants and new Analysts
  • Prepare and implement screens/firewalls when required in all firm matters

The ideal Conflicts Analyst would:

  • Have proven experience of Conflicts Analysis and Researching within a law firm
  • Be detail orientated, flexible in regard to scheduling to accommodate work demands and ability to multi-task
  • Have excellent Microsoft package experience, including Word, Office and Excel
  • Be a fantastic communicator, both written and verbally
  • Have experience in a legal office environment
