An established legal firm in Brighton is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their dynamic team. This full-time permanent position offers a unique opportunity to manage the finance function, reconcile payments, and assist with year-end audits. Initially office-based for training, the role will transition to a hybrid model, allowing for flexibility. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar role, particularly within a legal environment, and must be capable of working independently. This is a fantastic chance to take on a new challenge in a supportive and growing team.

Experience in a similar role is essential.
Ability to manage workload independently.

Manage day-to-day finance functions effectively.
Reconcile payments and process invoices accurately.

I am currently recruiting for a legal firm based in Brighton. They are currently looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join their growing team.

This is a full-time permanent role, which is primarily office based for the initial 3 month period for training with hybrid arrangements to follow.

Typical duties include:

Managing the day-to-day finance function
Reconciling payments and processing invoices
Assisting with year-end audit processes
Handling all transactions for the practice
Completing VAT returns
Assisting with any other ad hoc duties where required

The successful candidate:

Previous experience in a similar role
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Experience working within a legal firm
