Legal Assistant (Trade Marks)

We are working on a brand new role with a tier 1 IP firm in their search for a Legal Assistant to support their IP Solicitor team.

The role would suit a recent law graduate who can demonstrate a keen interest in IP. The successful candidate will:

1. Undertake legal and commercial research
2. Prepare and draft letters and witness statements
3. Liaise with authorities (customs and trading standards)
4. Conduct preliminary assessments of IP portfolios in support of potential litigation
5. Keep files and records up to date
6. Maintain awareness of current developments in IP and assist with writing articles
7. Assist with preparing presentations
8. Take minutes
