Legal Assistant - Lloyd's Insurer - Permanent - London/City
Hybrid model of working - 3 days per week in the office.
A Legal Assistant is required to support the Head of Legal, providing wordings support across business functions and data protection matters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate TOBAs, Non-disclosure agreements, service level agreements, and consultancy agreements.
- Provide support to maintain internal governance policies and procedures for:
- GDPR, and provision of advice on the handling of data breach responses in line with the data privacy framework.
- Product related Lloyd's, FCA/PRA and (where applicable) EU regulatory requirements.
- Support strategic, legal initiatives and special projects, such as uniform use of standard contractual agreements and branded policy wordings.
- Identify proactive solutions to mitigate or eliminate risks to the business.
- Oversight of policy wordings for Lloyd's and (when applicable) company platforms.
- Coordinate with US General Counsel team on data protection.
- Deliver/facilitate legal and regulatory training for business units on new and ongoing legal and regulatory issues, including wordings.
- Knowledge of wordings in Lloyd's or company market, a willingness to engage in on-the-job training.
Legally qualified - England & Wales and/or common law jurisdiction, desirable but not mandatory.
