Role: Conveyancing Assistant

Location: Central London

Salary: £28k-£34k

A great new opportunity within a Central London multi-service law firm. My client is looking to hire a Legal Assistant to join their thriving Residential Property team. This opportunity will allow you to get involved in all conveyancing duties up to and following completion, as well as supporting the residential solicitors.

The firm is a Media and Entertainment Firm which means that has a lot of cross referrals from their other departments allowing you the potential to work with celebrities/song writer clients! The partner of this firm has lots of international and UHNW clients, giving you the opportunity to work on a high quality caseload.

The opportunity available is a full-time position within a friendly and well respected developing law firm. Some of the day to day tasks will consist of:

  1. Opening and closing matter files
  2. Carrying out AML checks
  3. Liaising with estate agents
  4. Typing and preparing correspondence
  5. Preparing contract packs
  6. Post completion work
  7. Drafting applications to Land Registry

My client is looking for someone who already has a few years experience as a Legal Assistant within Conveyancing so that you can join the team and really hit the ground running. If you are able to work under pressure, multitask, have knowledge of MS Office and have previous experience with Case Management System, Oyez forms and Land Registry Forms - this could be the perfect role for you!

Requirements

  1. A degree from a UK University (2:1 and above).
  2. At least 2-years' working in conveyancing at a firm in England.
  3. Experience using case management systems.
  4. Ambitious and hardworking attitude.
