Hybrid model of working – 3 days per week in the office.
A Legal Assistant is required to support the Head of Legal, providing wordings support across business functions and data protection matters.
Job Responsibilities:
Review and negotiate TOBAs, Non-disclosure agreements, service level agreements, and consultancy agreements.
Provide support to maintain internal governance policies and procedures for:
GDPR, and provision of advice on the handling of data breach responses in line with the data privacy framework.
Product related Lloyd’s, FCA/PRA and (where applicable) EU regulatory requirements.
Support strategic legal initiatives and special projects, such as uniform use of standard contractual agreements and branded policy wordings.
Identify proactive solutions to mitigate or eliminate risks to the business.
Oversee policy wordings for Lloyd’s and (when applicable) company platforms.
Coordinate with US General Counsel team on data protection. Deliver/facilitate legal and regulatory training for business units on new and ongoing legal and regulatory issues, including wordings.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of wordings in Lloyd’s or company market, with a willingness to engage in on-the-job training.
Legally qualified – England & Wales and/or common law jurisdiction, desirable but not mandatory.
