Our client is dedicated to delivering outstanding legal services with a client-focused approach. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their Residential Property team.
The Role:As a Legal Assistant in the Residential Property team, you will play a vital role in supporting solicitors with a range of conveyancing transactions. You will be responsible for assisting in file management, liaising with clients and third parties, and ensuring the smooth progression of cases from instruction to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting solicitors with all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and lease extensions.
Preparing and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
Conducting property searches and reviewing title documents.
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties.
Managing case files and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Handling administrative duties such as filing, document management, and diary coordination.
Providing excellent client service and responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
Requirements:
Some previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar role within any area of law.
Knowledge of Legal admin procedures and legal terminology.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
