We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Administrator/Secretary to join our litigation team. As a Legal Administrator/Secretary, you will provide administrative support to our legal staff and assist in the smooth operation of our law office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and IT skills. This role is full-time office based in London.
Duties:
Document Management including audiotyping, preparing, maintaining and organising legal files and documents.
Photocopying, scanning, and dealing with post.
Invoicing.
Telephone and email management.
Assisting in scheduling and diarising deadlines.
Conducting some legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
Assist with trial preparation, including physical and electronic bundling.
Handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role
Proficient in MS Office Suite and other software applications including AdobePro, DocuSign. Experience of document management systems is essential.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
Familiarity with solicitor's accounts and posting
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including audio typing
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
