Job description

Job Purpose

To provide all forms of administrative support to the Recoveries Team as and when required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Providing general administrative and clerical support.
  2. Proactively manage diaries and diarise actions.
  3. Compose letters to clients/customers.
  4. Maintain pro-active communication with clients and external agencies relating to claims.
  5. Take responsibility for personal development and growth.
  6. Effective prioritisation of tasks whilst managing a full workload.
  7. Liaise and build relationships as appropriate with clients and their support staff.
  8. Manage case management system.
  9. Prepare document bundles.
  10. File, archive, photocopy, scan documents as and when required.
  11. Ensure that client contact information is kept up to date.
  12. Liaise with Counsel and other legal representatives.
  13. Effectively work with fee earners and secretarial team members.
Experience & Knowledge

  1. Previous experience in a similar role.
  2. Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  3. Good organisation and time management skills.
  4. Excellent attention to detail.
  5. A focused client service approach.
  6. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  7. Ability to cope under pressure and work to deadlines.
  8. Ability to work on your own, as well as in a team, to achieve maximum results.
