We are currently recruiting for a Legal Administrative Assistant to join the team in Ashford on a full-time, permanent basis who will report to the Global Entity Manager.
Our role is offering hybrid working, with 2 days on site in the Ashford, Kent office per week, so you must be within a commutable distance.
The Administrative Assistant will work under the supervision of the Global Entity Manager and the Data Privacy Officer as part of a team of 9 colleagues in the UK, within the wider Sysco global legal team. As the Legal Administrative Assistant, you will need to be accountable for your own work, be prepared to manage your own workload and prioritize as appropriate.
This role will be responsible for carrying out administrative tasks for the Global Entity Team and Data Privacy Team to ensure that records and systems are accurate and kept up to date, as well as supporting the wider UK legal team when needed. The global legal team plays an important role in supporting the global businesses and ensuring compliance with all of the laws and regulations that affect a multinational business.

This is a great role for someone who has an interest in Legal who is looking to take their first industry position, or someone who has a background in administration looking to work for a global organization. You will have excellent communication and teamwork skills to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders and departments across the business and be a strong team player with a ‘can do’, flexible attitude. You will have the ability to identify matters that must be escalated to more senior members of the team, for guidance and/or decision and be organised and deliver work within the set deadlines. This role requires discretion with sensitive/confidential information and excellent Microsoft Office skills.
