The School of Health Sciences is part of a highly successful and vibrant faculty. The University has invested over £3 million in the development of state-of-the-art simulation centres, which further enhances our record of teaching innovation.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced registered midwife who has ambition to develop as a midwifery educator and academic, having developed teaching and assessing skills through a mentorship/practice assessor role or equivalent. You will play a key role in facilitating teaching and learning across our midwifery provision. We are happy to consider part-time working and/or secondments. Applicants without previous teaching experience will be considered as a Lecturer.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to complete a teaching qualification (PGCHE) and progress through our GOLD framework to achieve HEA senior fellowship, as well as contribute to research and knowledge exchange activities.
