Job description

Lecturer - Prep for Life

We are looking for a Prep for Life Lecturer to join our Prep for Life Team. This is a 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £30,202 to £41,769 (pro rata) per annum.

Job Purpose:
To assist in the development, organisation, delivery and course management of high-quality teaching and learning in the area of Prep for Life.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Vocational qualification at minimum Level 3 in an appropriate subject (essential)
  • Full Teaching qualification (Certificate of Education, PGCE or equivalent) or currently studying towards (essential)
  • Able to evidence successful experience of teaching groups of learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (LDD) (essential)
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, motivational and inclusive learning experiences for learners with LDD (essential)
  • Be prepared to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the post, including occasional evening work and residential visits (essential)
  • Be qualified to teach GCSE Maths (desirable)
