We work closely with industry partners and government bodies to translate discoveries into real-word impact. This role will specifically be working within the School of Psychology.
About The Role
The Lecturer will have responsibility for coordinating placements in the Deakin School of Psychology Clinical Programs. Working with the Director of Clinical Programs and Partnerships and the course leadership group for professional psychology programs, the focus of this role will be to ensure trainees obtain high quality placements that are consistent with the requirements of the program. The appointee will also contribute to teaching, service and research in the professional psychology programs. The appointee will promote the School and maintain links and partnerships with relevant academic, industry and professional communities.
The incumbent may be required to provide supervision to postgraduate professional students on placement, if needed. They will coordinate and participate in other teaching and learning activities necessary to prepare and to support students to achieve success on placement and forming part of Clinical Placement Unit requirements. In addition, they will be required to contribute to relevant teaching in the professional psychology programs and support research at a level consistent with the time fraction of the appointment.
