Lecturer in Health and Social Care

Lancaster & Morecambe College is seeking Lecturers in Health and Social Care for both T Level Health (Supporting Adult Nursing) and our Apprenticeship provision. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to provide an excellent learning experience that ensures high achievement for all students.

You will teach and assess in healthcare-related subject areas such as person-centred care, clinical practice, and activities to support daily living, as well as topics on physiological illness and meeting individual needs. Additionally, you will support the development of practical skills in the health training ward.

Courses include Level 2 to Level 3 in Health and Social Care and T Level Health, along with a new Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship.

Minimum requirements include relevant recent experience in the health & social care sector (including clinical experience) and being teacher qualified or willing to undertake this training. Support and mentoring are provided for those new to teaching.
