This is an excellent opportunity for those with extensive hands-on experience in electrical installations who are now looking to make a meaningful contribution by teaching and mentoring the next generation of electricians.

We are looking for someone with an in-depth understanding of domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical systems, and who is passionate about imparting that knowledge to students. Whether you have previous teaching experience or are new to education, we encourage you to apply. This is an ideal role for someone who is ready to move away from the construction site and take on a rewarding new challenge in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Delivering practical and theoretical lessons across Levels 1, 2, and 3 of Electrical Installation qualifications.
  2. Conducting assessments, tracking student progress, and providing feedback to ensure the highest quality learning outcomes.
  3. Building solid connections with the construction and electrical industry to keep the course content fully charged.
  4. Ensuring that work placements are safe, structured, and conducive to student learning.
  5. The role requires a willingness to gain an assessor's award or teaching qualification if you don't already hold one.

What We Offer:

  1. A competitive salary of up to £45,000, based on experience and qualifications.
  2. Enrollment in the Teachers Pension Scheme, with employer contributions of up to 28.68%.
  3. 45 days of annual leave to ensure a good work-life balance.
  4. Access to further training and development opportunities to help you expand your skills and qualifications.
  5. Flexible working hours that allow for a better balance between work and personal commitments.
  6. A Cycle to Work scheme to encourage a healthy, environmentally-friendly commute.

If you are ready to take the next step in your career and make a lasting impact on the future of the electrical industry, apply today to join a college that values both its staff and its students. We look forward to hearing from you.
