# About you

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria:

1. Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g. MA in Education/Educational Management/TESOL/Applied Linguistics or other relevant area).
2. Relevant Level 7 teaching qualification (e.g. Cambridge DELTA, PGCE).
3. Knowledge of the academic literacy needs of students in HE both in-person and online, including knowledge or interest in supporting students with effective use of Generative AI tools.
4. Experience of effectively managing the needs analysis, design, development, and delivery of EAP, academic literacy, and academic skills provision alongside or integrated into UG and PG programmes of study.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead a small team and take an active role in departmental line management activities.
6. Demonstrated commitment to promoting and implementing the values of equality, diversity, and inclusion in education.
7. Evidence of successfully collaborating with a range of stakeholders, including academics, professional services staff, and the student body, to deliver engaging and inclusive academic skills provision.
8. Fellowship of HEA or willing to work towards it and secure within 3 years.
