Salary: £28,168 - £39,244 per annum, Academic Grade 4 – 13 (dependant on skills, qualifications and experience)

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Lecturer in Business & Finance – The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to teach and shape the future of Business & Finance in a supportive, collaborative, and innovative environment.

As a Lecturer in Business & Finance, you will have the opportunity to teach and guide students across a range of further education and undergraduate courses; to include T Level Accounting. You will contribute to the development and delivery of dynamic, engaging curriculum, while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with a team of dedicated academic professionals to help students achieve their academic and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Business & Finance.
• Developing and updating course materials to ensure relevance and alignment with industry trends.
• Supporting students in their academic journey, providing guidance, feedback, and mentoring.
• Contributing to curriculum development, ensuring it meets the needs of students and the evolving business landscape.
• Maintaining a passion for teaching and continuous professional development.

You:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant degree in Finance, Business Finance, or a related discipline.
• A teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one.
• Experience of teaching or tutoring in Finance, Business Finance at FE or HE level.
• A passion for education, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
• A proactive, forward-thinking attitude with a focus on student success and employability.
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
