Job Title: Lecturer in Adult Education (Art)

Location: Highbury Campus, Portsmouth

Salary: £29,074.42 - £42,579.53- Full Time Equivalent

Hours of work: 35 hours per week (inclusive of teaching and prep time), 52 weeks per year, Permanent

About the role:

The Lecturer in Adult Education (Photography) will deliver engaging and innovative photography courses to adult learners. This role involves planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons, as well as assessing and supporting students in their learning journey. While a teaching qualification is beneficial, we can provide the necessary training and support for applicants to achieve their teaching qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to adult learners
2. Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the needs of learners
3. Assess and provide feedback on student progress
4. Support learners in achieving their educational goals
5. Ensure compliance with all college policies and procedures
6. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
7. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
