Salary: Up to £39,340 (pay award pending) - per annum, plus a £2,500 Golden Hello' incentive, to be paid in two instalments across the first year of employment - depending on experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic GCSE Maths Lecturer to join our dynamic teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and help them unlock their potential in the world of mathematics.
You will be part of a highly successful team of dedicated Maths staff delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths at Nelson and Colne College along with inspiring your students to achieve their best. You'll be involved in every aspect of course planning, including developing schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching resources, all while building strong relationships with your learners. Your efforts will contribute to improving student retention, attendance, and success rates, and you'll play a key role in shaping the curriculum to best meet students' needs.

What You Will Be Doing:
Plan, deliver and assess GCSE Maths learners on 16-19 study programmes. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic practitioner who promotes and upholds the same high expectations as the College and its students. With a focus on sharing good practice, they will be committed to their own continuous professional development and will engage enthusiastically with our quality processes to ensure that our students receive an Outstanding experience.
