In our Children, Education, & Families directorate, we’re committed to delivering lasting change, by helping the children, young people, and families of Oxfordshire to thrive. We are a passionate and dedicated service supporting care leavers and unaccompanied young people. We strive to achieve the best outcomes for our care leavers and support them into independence and young adulthood. We are proud to have achieved a 'Good' rating this year with our Ofsted inspection and have had positive feedback from the LGA review. Are you in?

As a Leaving Care Personal Advisor, you will need a wide range of skills including knowledge of issues that impact care leavers and unaccompanied young people. You will play a key part in supporting them into adulthood and preparing them with independence skills to ensure they have the best chances moving forward.

About you

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with a variety of agencies. You will be passionate and caring as well as being dedicated to supporting their aspirations, celebrating their achievements and helping them overcome obstacles and challenges.
