Responsibilities

The Job At-A-Glance:

We are looking to add a Leasing Manager to join our team, who will be a key member of our Campus Life & Style Family. As the Leasing Manager, you will provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents, ensuring that all resident requests are handled promptly and professionally while creating a professional and friendly office environment.

Staff Development and Leadership:

  • Assist Managers to build a team of highly motivated, skilled and productive individuals who work well with others. Consistently maintain professional quality of management, communication, and reporting.
  • Provide first-class customer service to prospects and residents.
  • Work with Manager to establish, implement, and monitor leasing goals and renewal programs to meet required occupancy.

Property Administration:

  • Ensure property management software is accurate and up to date at all times.
  • Perform lease processing and administration, and other administrative duties as needed.
  • Focus on improvement and upkeep of the properties’ curb appeal and cleanliness.

Financial Performances:

  • Assist Managers to maintain occupancy at or above 99% and collections at or above 98% of potential income.
  • Achieve the highest possible net operating income (NOI) through effective cost control and revenue improvement efforts.

Customer Experience & Sales:

  • Assist Managers to maintain a positive reputation and relationship with school and community.
  • Promote harmonious relations among residents, parents, staff, and surrounding community, while enforcing company policies and standards.
  • Spend necessary time on campus and at local businesses to promote cross-advertising and positive relationships.
  • Assist Managers to implement and maintain a thorough annual marketing plan.
  • Effectively maintain product knowledge of property and competitive properties through consistent market research.
  • Ensure websites, listing sites, social media, and marketing materials are up to date and portray the property positively.
  • Assist Managers to plan, advertise, and manage resident functions and events.
  • Coordinate advertising events on campus and create partnerships with school and student programs.
  • Actively network with student housing professionals in your market.

Qualifications

Relevant Systems and Platforms

  • A Bachelor degree; or 2-5 years’ experience in the student/multi-family housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and Property Management software (Entrata).
  • Working knowledge of market rate and LIHTC programs and Fair Housing Laws.

  • Strong skills in hiring, staff development, budgeting, and marketing planning.

Pay Range

USD $19.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
