Learning Support Assistants
Are you looking for a new opportunity within education? Are you available on a full-time basis?
If so, we want to hear from you!
School experience is not required to be successful in these roles!
Numerous Secondary Schools in Liverpool require Learning Support Assistants on a long-term contract, full-time basis (Monday-Friday, 8.30-3:30pm). The positions have flexible start dates, most roles are to start as soon as Tuesday 22nd April 2025, with a view to go into school for a trial morning the week before. There is flexibility around these dates as the schools are interested in securing the right support and therefore would rather wait for the right people.
The school has a range of experienced Senior Managers, Teachers, and Learning Support Staff who have proven experience in ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, Asperger’s, and Autistic Spectrum disorders. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference with children in Specialist settings.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be expected to create positive relationships with the pupils and encourage positive choices and behaviour. You will provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers.
The schools are keen to consider a variety of staff in terms of experience. You are likely to be successful whether you are an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate looking for experience, or have current or prior experience as a support/care worker. Ideally, if you have supported individuals with additional needs, that would be desirable; however, this is not essential. If you have experience within the education sector, whether that be primary, secondary, college, or university - we would like to hear from you!
