Job Description:

A Learning Support Assistant (LSA) plays a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning needs, helping to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Working closely with teachers, LSAs assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities, provide one-on-one or small group support, and help manage classroom behavior to ensure all students can engage effectively in their learning. They may also assist with personal care, use specialised equipment or strategies, and monitor student progress, offering encouragement and guidance to promote confidence and independence. Their role is essential in helping every student reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is highly desirable
  2. A passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs
  3. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
