Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual passionate about supporting children with complex needs? Five Education is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist PMLD school, working with students who require a high level of care and support throughout the school day.
This is a welcoming and well-resourced special school for students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). Pupils are supported in small classes, with a high adult-to-child ratio, and benefit from a multi-sensory approach to learning. The school promotes independence, dignity, and a holistic view of learning in a warm and collaborative setting.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students across the school day, both in and out of the classroom. This includes helping with classroom activities, physical and communication support, and providing personal care when needed. You'll be working closely with teaching staff and therapists to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive and enjoy learning in a safe and nurturing environment.

Five Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants will undergo checks including reference and TRA checks. If you do not have a non-voluntary enhanced DBS on the update service, a new DBS will need to be processed at a cost of £62.70, refunded after 20 days of work and once registered to the update service.
