Learning Support Assistant – Elevate Supply, Primary Schools in South Sheffield

Elevate Supply is looking to recruit a passionate graduate for a part-time Learning Support Assistant position in primary schools across South Sheffield. This role is ideal for a confident and motivated graduate eager to gain experience in an educational setting.

• Part-time position, Monday-Friday
• Start date: After the Easter half-term
• Support students across various primary year groups

Learning Support Assistant Role

In this role, you will primarily support students in Key Stage 1 and 2 (ages 5-11), assisting the class teacher in ensuring that all students have access to the curriculum. You will have the opportunity to work with children who need additional support, as well as those who are excelling in their studies.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Providing one-to-one or small group support for students
• Helping with class activities, including literacy and numeracy
• Encouraging student engagement and participation
• Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and ensuring they have access to all learning opportunities
• Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment

Highlights of this Learning Support Assistant Position:

• Pay: £80 to £110 per day (Depending on experience)
• Part-time: Monday to Friday, with flexibility on hours
• Ideal for a graduate interested in pursuing a career in education
• Opportunity to gain experience in primary schools across South Sheffield

Graduates from any subject background are encouraged to apply, although experience in English, Maths, or other core subjects would be beneficial.
