Job description

Milk Education are working with an Ofsted “Good” Primary school in North Liverpool who are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work in the EYFS class.

This Learning Support Assistant role is to support both children and the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom. You must be confident to support the EYFS children working on a one-to-one basis and in a group capacity as and when required to do so.

The hours of work are 08:30am-3:30pm.

This Learning Support Assistant role will involve supporting the class teacher with anything they need support with, including keeping all children on task and ensuring that the work they are doing is being done to a good standard. You will be responsible for getting resources ready for the day and ensuring the classroom is kept clean and tidy each day.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Supporting with Learning and Developing
• Working on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Encouraging, Supporting and De-escalating students
• Being involved across the curriculum, including outdoor learning, PE and Core subjects
