An established industry player is seeking a compassionate Behaviour Mentor to support secondary-aged students facing challenges in mainstream education. This rewarding full-time position offers the chance to make a significant impact on young people's lives, particularly those with social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will work in a supportive environment that encourages growth and development, providing essential guidance to help students thrive. With competitive pay and numerous professional development opportunities, this role is perfect for someone passionate about education and making a difference.
Do you enjoy making a real difference to young people who find school a bit more challenging?
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Brent that's on the lookout for a confident, calm, and caring Behaviour Mentor to join their team. This full-time role kicks off right after the Easter break and runs through to the end of the academic year.
The school supports secondary-aged students who've been referred or excluded from mainstream education. Many of them face social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges, along with behavioural difficulties. The team there is all about giving these pupils a fresh start in a safe and encouraging space where they can begin to thrive again.
If you've worked with children or teens with behavioural or mental health needs before—or just have a natural way with young people who need a bit of extra support—you could be a great fit. The role is not always easy, but it's hugely rewarding, with pay up to £575 per week.
If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
