About the Learning Mentor Role:

As a Learning Mentor, you will:

1. Work one-to-one and in small groups with students who need extra support
2. Help students develop their confidence, motivation, and academic skills
3. Assist with behaviour management and create a positive learning environment
4. Provide emotional and pastoral support, acting as a role model and trusted mentor
5. Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to ensure student success

Ideal Candidate: Learning Mentor:

We are looking for a people person with:

1. A passion for helping young people overcome challenges
2. Experience working in a school or mentoring role (preferred but not essential)
3. The ability to build positive relationships and inspire students
4. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to learning support
5. A desire to contribute to a nurturing and inclusive school environment
