The Role:
- Apply instructional design principles/methodologies and best practices to create effective learning experiences.
- Design and build comprehensive, multi-modal learning programs, training materials and support articles.
- Identifying training gaps and learner requirements through research, stakeholder interviews, and data analysis to inform learning design/improvements.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions through feedback, assessments, and analytics.
- Designing comprehensive learning curricula, including course outlines, learning objectives, and assessment strategies aligned with business goals.
- Continuously improve learning materials based on user feedback, engagement and performance data.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business strategy and its implications on learning needs.
- Stay up to date on emerging trends and technologies in instructional design and learning experience design.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Continuously review and maintain the centralised knowledge base to ensure relevancy and accuracy (customer facing education and articles to support self-serve).
- Act as the Knowledge base administrator and analyse knowledge base metrics to identify improvement areas.
- Develop design guidelines, templates and content in accordance with the knowledge-centred service (KCS) methodology, ensuring that the content is easily digestible for the intended audience and easily found.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Good understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to empathise with learners, conduct user research, and design experiences based on their needs.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video production tools to create visually appealing and accessible learning materials.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and effectively convey learning design concepts.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
- Proven experience in designing and developing learning materials and programs.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools is a plus.
