JOB DETAILS:

Working on behalf of a local authority, JO recruitment has an urgent requirement for an experienced OD Consultant/ Learning & Development Consultant. This is a hybrid role, 1 or 2 days at the office in Chelmsford initially for 6 months with possibility for extensions. This is a full-time position, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday paying £266.25 per day PAYE; which is equivalent to £69,225 salary or £350 per day through an umbrella. To start ASAP.

This role will support the translation of current and future leadership and management development needs at all levels in the organisation (from executive development to early-career stages), into innovative, aligned, and practical programs and learning interventions to support the development of leaders and managers so they are ready to deliver the organisation strategy.

Collaboration across the organisation is essential, working with organisational SMEs, People Leads and Business Partners to maximise the contribution, value and credibility this practice makes throughout the organisation, both through own efforts and by supporting the activities of other teams.

  1. Educated to degree level in a relevant professional field such as learning and development, Human Resources or equivalent by experience.
  2. Professional membership of CIPD at Chartered level or working towards this.
  3. Evidence of continuing professional development and expert knowledge in relevant professional area.
  4. Strong understanding of leading-edge learning and development theories and methods, with demonstrable experience of successful planning, designing, delivering and evaluating learning and development interventions in a large and complex organisation.
  5. Proven track record of creating learning solutions for a variety of different audiences, with a highly collaborative approach, co-creating with clients and learners.
  6. Experience in experiential learning, social learning, content curation and creation (authoring online content), interaction design, (learner) user journeys, user experience and testing.
