I am working with a professional body that has over 20,000 members worldwide.

My client is looking to recruit for a Learning & Development Business Partner. This is a 7 - 9 month fixed term contract opportunity working 35 hours per week.

They offer a flexible working approach with 2 days in their central London office & 3 days hybrid working.

Salary & Benefits

Role

You will have overall responsibility for the development and delivery of learning and development interventions. Offer expertise in talent, development and learning/training areas and platforms to deliver the agreed plan.

Duties

  • Building a blended learning approach and engaging with the wider organisation to evolve L&D provision to look at development of the workforce.
  • Lead an organisational skills audit identifying the skills available, the skills needed for future proofing the organisation and identifying skills gaps.
  • Be responsible for the development and implementation of a training needs analysis process that is directly aligned to the performance review process and develop an organisational training plan.
  • Create and curate development content that is accessible, relevant, and engaging.
  • This includes core skills development and delivery face to face or virtually, designing and implementing a variety of developmental initiatives, action plans, programs, and training materials.
  • Utilise L&D best practice to find ways to improve L&D approaches.
  • Maintain accurate records of development spend and committed spend to support HR service to control L&D costs and maintain budget.
  • Be responsible for the LMS platform including managing the relationship with the provider, ensuring content is relevant; processes and administration of it is maintained; and assessing, developing, and implementing further e-learning content.
  • Measure and evaluate the impact of learning solutions to inform future activity and demonstrate value for money.
  • Provide expert and professional advice on L&D requirements, solutioning with managers and workforce to grow capability.
