KS4 Teaching Assistant

Location: Gloucester, currently at a temporary site but will be moving to a permanent site in Slimbridge

Position: Full-time, Permanent

Pay Rate: £22,500-£21,500 per annum

Are you passionate about supporting young learners with special educational needs and disabilities? Do you have the dedication and skills to make a real difference in their lives? We are looking for a committed SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant KS3/4 team at an Alternative Education school in Gloucester.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
2. Work closely with class teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
3. Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
4. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience working with children with SEND/Alternative Provisions is desirable.
2. A proactive and patient approach to working with young learners.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
