We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Learning and Support Officer at Coops Foyer – supported accommodation for young people aged 16-25.
The role is based at Coops Foyer in Wigan Town Centre and will move over to our new Wigan Foyer, also based in Wigan Town centre when the innovative development is completed in the next year. This will be a new site that is purpose built, allowing for new and creative communal spaces. Our new site will mean we can support additional young people in the Wigan borough.
As part of our ‘Foyer Deal’, our young people must engage in a programme of work and learning. As Learning and Support Officer you will be responsible for overseeing a high quality programme of learning on scheme, delivering life skills, employability and personal development.
What will my working week look like?
The Learning and Support Officer will work 35 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday – with flexibility required to be able to meet the needs of our young people.

This role offers genuine progression opportunities, with previous LSOs progressing onto Deputy Manager, Foyer Operations Manager and Community Investment Officer roles.
