Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Leadership Development Manager to oversee, create, and execute a learning and leadership development portfolio aimed at developing world-class leadership capabilities across our global organisation.

Our Talent Team works globally to enable the business to achieve its strategic goals by developing, embedding, and enhancing learning and practices that support employee performance, growth, and engagement.

This is an exciting role for someone to make a real difference to how we develop Entain leaders and embed learning culture across the organisation. You will be expected to lead, design, implement, manage, facilitate, evaluate, and identify continuous improvements in Entain's learning and development programs. This role requires a passion for learning, experience in development models and philosophies, collaboration, curiosity, and focus on measurable results.

Key responsibilities include:

Learning Design

  1. Champion and drive a global approach to learning and development, ensuring the design, delivery, and deployment of comprehensive leadership and management training programs and initiatives that improve business performance and build individual capability.
  2. Identify clear learning objectives that are aligned with the current and future developmental needs of the learner population, understood/valued by all stakeholders, and aligned with business objectives.
  3. Support learning initiatives from concept to implementation and develop a learning culture at scale while ensuring consistent, high-quality global delivery of learning programs across geographies.
  4. Drive high adoption of leadership development initiatives and platforms to their full potential and incorporate emerging AI tools where appropriate.
  5. Implement creative techniques to inspire engagement and drive sustained behaviour change post-training.
  6. Develop comprehensive learning programs' curricula, materials, and facilitation guides for engaging virtual and in-person learning sessions.

Global Training Delivery

  1. Facilitate engaging and impactful learning experiences, incorporating diverse instructional methods to cater to various learning styles.
  2. Coordinate and support global rollout and implementation of learning programs across geographies.
  3. Collaborate with L&D colleagues globally to contextualise programs and enable localised delivery.
  4. Provide training for trainers and build internal facilitation capabilities globally.

Network Building & Continuous Improvement

  1. Facilitate knowledge sharing within a global community of learning professionals, best practice exchange, and continuous learning among People Partners.
  2. Build positive, collaborative, and action-oriented partnerships with stakeholders to ensure optimal effectiveness and efficiency of learning programs, as well as contribute to consistent stakeholder and participant experiences.
  3. Establish mechanisms and metrics to assess the effectiveness of learning programs and continuously iterate for improvement, making evidence-based enhancements that strengthen learning outcomes.
  4. Stay abreast of current research and trends in the learning and development space and drive a learning culture through innovative solutions.
  5. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to leverage technology and/or vendor offerings to enhance programs.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's or Masters degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Corporate Training or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the required key accountabilities.
  2. 8+ years in a global leadership role in learning and development, with a proven track record of working up, down and across a complex matrix structure and aligning stakeholders to a common goal.
  3. Proven experience as a strong partner, adviser, and collaborator. Able to develop trusting relationships with diverse stakeholders to gain support, influence, eliminate barriers and achieve results.
  4. Proven track record in designing and facilitating impactful management and leadership development programmes.
  5. Experience managing and facilitating global training initiatives and working across cultures.
  6. Exceptional facilitation skills with the ability to inspire learners and drive development.
  7. Strong skills in instructional design, curriculum development, and blended learning approaches.
  8. Relevant coaching and facilitation certifications are preferred.
