Oakleaf is proud to be partnering with a global engineering company based in London in their search for a Learning Specialist (Learning and Development). This is a full-time permanent opportunity reporting into the Learning and Development Director.

What is the role?

Our client is looking to hire an experienced and credible Learning specialist with experience working in a large global matrix company. The role will be as an individual contributor reporting into the Learning and Development and OD Director supporting the team to drive the future of Learning within our business. This role will be part of a wider team of 4.

The role will be strategic and operational in nature with design, development and delivery responsibilities.

The role will include:

  1. Working as part of the Group Learning and Development team to oversee the design, development, delivery and evaluation of the current learning programme portfolio that supports project delivery and team performance.
  2. Working with suppliers to design and develop new learning programmes.
  3. Engaging with business stakeholders to ensure our programmes and initiatives are aligned with the business needs.
  4. Building relationships with the HRBP’s globally, ensuring that learning is embedded and supported in the right way.
  5. Supporting the running of annual campaigns, such as Festival of Learning, Performance Management and Compliance.
  6. Managing updates to our capability frameworks and supporting roll out and engagement.
  7. Ensuring our programmes are delivered against our company values.

Candidate profile

You will be an experienced Learning specialist and will have worked in a global matrixed business before. You will be able to design and deliver learning programmes through a blended approach that are meaningful and impactful, measuring the ROI.

You will have excellent stakeholder management, be able to navigate a large global business operating across multiple time zones. You will know what “good looks like” from a learning perspective and can create this in a new environment.
