Our client provides leadership and expertise in welfare and early years in Wales. Their vision is to make a positive difference to support for children, adults, and their families and carers.
To achieve this, they lead on developing and regulating the workforce, service improvement, and data and research to improve support. Through their quality assurance work, they support educators in both education and practice settings, ensuring the highest level of training for the next generation of workers.
They are now looking for a Learning and Development Officer to join them for a 12 month maternity cover contract. Full-time working at 36 hours per week is available, however, they are open to flexibility.
You must be based in the UK to apply for this role and be able to visit one of the stated offices when required.

The Role
As a Learning and Development Officer, you will lead the co-ordination and delivery of staff learning and development activities across the organisation.
Supporting the growth and capability of employees, you will implement effective training programmes and ensure compliance with learning objectives.
Working closely with the leadership team and managers, you will administer, evaluate, and report on learning opportunities in line with the Learning and Development Strategy and annual training plans.
