Learning & Development Trainer (Health and Social Care)

Salary: Up to £30,870 per annum plus Car Allowance (£4,700)

Hours: 35 Hours per week

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development Trainer to join their friendly and enthusiastic team! This role covers their services from the Midlands area to Yorkshire.

Our client’s Complex Care Centres, Rehabilitation Units and Supported Living Services use expert neurorehabilitation to support people to regain the skills they have lost. They treat people with a range of brain injuries - sustained through trauma, illness, substance abuse and more - to recover and meet their personal goals. You will find a dedicated team spirit across their services and amazing colleagues who always pull together and look out for each other.

They are looking for someone who can create an engaging learning environment, and who wants to bring value and enhance Learning and Development outcomes. In this key role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the quality of care and support that is delivered to service users, through delivering high quality training to their teams.

There will be regular travel with some overnight stays required.

Based in any of the following areas: Leicester, Coventry, Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Rugby, Peterborough.

At their units, you will get the chance to see how their rehabilitation and support services work and gain a full understanding of how the training you deliver impacts on the quality of care.

We would like to talk to you if you have:

1. A recognised training qualification (e.g. PTLLS, Cert in Education CIPD or equivalent) or experience of delivering training in a Health and Social Care setting.
2. Experience of working in the health and social care sector.
3. MAYBO accredited (desirable).
4. Experience of designing and delivering L&D interventions to different audiences.
5. A creative approach to deliver mandatory L&D solutions and management development.
6. Excellent people skills and the ability to engage with a wide audience.
