About IPSD
Caterpillar’s Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs, tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L Cat and Perkins engines that power over 5000 applications including Marine, Petroleum, Industrial Applications, Electric Generators, and Locomotives. Job Summary
Reporting to the Service & Customer Support (S&CS) Strategy Manager within SMSP, a great opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager. This is a key role in the S&CS group to lead customer focused projects to ensure they are delivered on time, to cost and quality as many of our tools, processes and services interact with Caterpillar Industrial Dealers and Perkins Distributors. This will involve leading working teams to deliver IT system and lean process improvements across a global team.
You will support efforts to drive a team culture focused on continuous improvement and develop team competency in Lean thinking, problem solving, project and change management. You will support the execution and evolution of the S&CS strategy to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
This role will provide you with the ability to further build your lean leadership and project management skills with the opportunity to become Six Sigma Blackbelt trained (if required). You will gain deep global process knowledge and develop an extensive network working with process partners throughout the organisation. The skills, experience and exposure that will be gained through this role will equip you for progression into future managerial positions.
