Meraki Talent’s client is actively looking for a Lean/Continuous Improvement Analyst to join their customer-focused team. The Lean/Continuous Improvement Analyst will be passionate about their chosen field and love helping and educating others in the field of CI.
This is not a ‘manufacturing’ CI role and would appeal to someone perhaps working in the central function of an organisation as a CI, Lean or Process Analyst, or perhaps a Change Analyst or someone who works in a BAU Operational role that can exemplify lots of Continuous Improvement techniques in their day-to-day role (Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, etc).
Responsibilities of the Lean/Continuous Improvement Analyst:
- Review end-to-end processes/journeys and complete modelling to identify friction points, bottlenecks, and wasteful actions to manage the improvement of operating efficiency.
- Use Lean, Six Sigma, and CI approaches and tools to deliver improvement.
- Coach others in developing a CI mindset.
- Use root cause analysis and mapping to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Conduct deep dives to determine the root cause of issues based on trend analysis.
Background of the Lean/Continuous Improvement Analyst:
- Experience working within a Continuous Improvement capacity is absolutely essential and must be clearly exemplified upon CV.
- Experience in leading CI coaching sessions is highly preferable.
- Good knowledge of Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis is highly preferable.
- Experience in delivering process and system improvements, from identification to designing the solution, readiness through to review.
- Any experience of client/customer experience Journey mapping would be helpful.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc. is very helpful.
Please note we love to receive applications from candidates all over the UK (and further afield!). If applying from out with a commuting distance, can you please state upon your application that you can commit to 3 days each week in a Scottish office and/or are happy to relocate.
