We are looking for a Leader of RE who is passionate about their subject and will excite and engage pupils in their learning and lay strong foundations for success in the next stage of their journey. Our pupils are happy, confident young people, it’s our responsibility to see they excel.

We are looking to employ an exceptional RE practitioner who shares our values and determination to deliver an excellent, inclusive education to our young people, from Nursery to Year 13. As RE Lead you will be responsible for the secondary curriculum at Woodmansterne.

We are looking for an excellent RE practitioner or current RE Leader with:

  • a proven track record in raising pupil attainment as KS4 and KS5
  • high aspirations and expectations of what can be achieved
  • an understanding of how children learn and the complexities of this process
  • the skills to work successfully as a team member establishing effective working relationships and flexible working practices
  • experience of working in unity and collaboration with colleagues, parents, pupils and the school community
  • strong interpersonal skills and the drive and determination to inspire a team
  • the ability to lead on educational progress, achievement and enrichment experience (including trips, rewards and clubs)
  • a measured, positive and inclusive approach to education.
