2 days/week in the Liverpool office (Mon & Tue)

Amber Resourcing are proud to be working with a growing digital business in the automotive tech space. They're partnered with some of the biggest names in the industry and are building innovative software products that are shaping the future of car buying.

We’re looking for a Lead Developer to head up a small but ambitious B2B development team. You’ll take ownership of technical direction, lead on architecture, and play a hands-on role in delivering robust, scalable systems. Just as importantly, you'll mentor and grow a team - so strong leadership and people skills are essential.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and mentor a talented Agile dev team
• Architect and deliver software using C#, .NET, and SQL Server
• Align development with broader business strategy
• Stay on top of emerging tech (especially AI) and apply it meaningfully
• Champion best practices and a culture of collaboration

What You’ll Bring:

• Deep technical knowledge of C#/.NET and SQL Server
• Strong background in team leadership and mentoring
• Passion for continuous improvement and innovation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Happy to be in the Liverpool office at least 2 days per week (Mon & Tue)

Bonus Points For:

• CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and TDD know-how
• Exposure to Blazor, React, or Vue
