Job Description:

Lead Technical Support required for our client, a Global HVAC manufacturer who specializes in Chiller, AHUs & Renewable systems. The Technical Support Engineer will be a remote-based role with occasional travel to support clients and advise on technical support for commissioning.

The Lead Technical Support Engineer will be joining the Technical Division which supports the Service & Maintenance and Project teams.

Responsibilities include providing support to clients, service providers, and commissioning of new units within the range of chiller systems & DX units. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced candidate who wants to work for a leading HVAC Manufacturer.

Lead Technical Support Position Overview

1. Provide advanced technical support to customers, field service engineers, and internal teams regarding chiller systems.
2. Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing solutions in a timely manner.
3. Lead and mentor a team of technical support engineers, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
4. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to schedule commissioning activities and resolve any issues.
5. Perform functional testing, start-up, and performance verification of chiller systems according to design and manufacturer guidelines.

Lead Technical Support Position Requirements

1. Previous chiller commissioning experience.
2. Previous technical support duties as Supervisor or Technical Manager.
3. Strong chiller system knowledge.
4. Driving license and ability to travel regionally and nationally at times.

Lead Technical Support Position Remuneration

1. Salary of £50,000 depending on experience.
2. Up to 10% company bonus.
3. 22 days holiday plus bank, birthday, and 3 days at Christmas.
4. All travel expensed.
5. Enhanced pension scheme.
