An exciting opportunity has become available with our prestigious client who is a prominent government department. The client is seeking an experienced Lead Technical Architect / Enterprise Architect to join their welcoming team.

The Lead Technical Architect / Enterprise Architect Role:

• To play a high-level role in the delivery of architecture services, ensuring the organisation is designed to become more efficient, effective, and resilient in the achievement of our purpose, and the delivery of our strategy.
• Play a leading role within the organisation’s architecture community and represent the architectural interests of the organisation in external communities.
• Support strategy development at all levels of the organisation through the provision of relevant information and advice.
• Provide high-level direction and guard-rails for the evolution of the organisation’s operating model.
• Provide design assurance and governance at all levels appropriate to the design risks and impacts involved.
• Provide specialist advice within the area of architecture (technology, business, data) across the organisation to achieve effective delivery of corporate outcomes, change activities, partnership activities, and compliance with relevant external regulations.
• Take a leading role in the overall direction of business and technical capabilities.

What the Lead Technical Architect / Enterprise Architect Will Need:

• Strong background in Technical / Enterprise Architecture
• Strong Architecture knowledge
• Strong experience leading a team / project
• Public sector experience
