The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and visionary Lead Teacher of Computer Science to spearhead the A-Level Computer Science program in Guildford. The successful candidate will be responsible for curriculum development, teaching excellence, and student achievement within the department. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of computer science education in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning, delivery, and assessment of the A-Level Computer Science curriculum.
2. Foster a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement among students and staff.

4. Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing strategies to support achievement.

About You: The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator, from in and around Guildford, with a proven track record of success in teaching computer science at the secondary or post-16 level. You will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for your subject, and a commitment to inspiring young minds.

Qualifications:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3. Experience teaching A-Level Computer Science or equivalent.
