About the Department:

Our Student Success Coaches are part of the wider Student Experience Departments at Arden University, who ensure students across all campuses receive the support and opportunities needed for success. The coaching team are crucial to providing pastoral support and career advice to students to maintain student welfare. This includes providing the best experience and guidance from application, admission, through to graduation.

About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a Lead Success Coach to oversee a team of Success Coaches who provide holistic student support, focusing on academic success, well-being, and personal development.

In this role, you will:

  1. Lead, train, and develop a team of Success Coaches to ensure high-quality coaching and student support.
  2. Drive continuous improvement in the coaching programme, ensuring high levels of student satisfaction.
  3. Motivate and guide your team to deliver tailored success plans, helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.
  4. Monitor and enhance service quality, ensuring student needs are met and performance targets are achieved.
  5. Collaborate across the university to develop best practices in student coaching and engagement.

About You:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced leader with:

  1. Proven experience in leading and managing a team, driving performance and professional development.
  2. A track record of motivating teams to deliver exceptional student support services, build strong professional relationships, and achieve targets/KPIs.
  3. Strong knowledge of student resources, referrals, and support services, ensuring students receive the guidance they need.
  4. A solid understanding of coaching principles and techniques, with the ability to apply them effectively in a student-focused environment.
  5. Familiarity with higher education systems and student development theories, including growth mindset strategies and motivational techniques.
