This is a great opportunity for an experienced Structural Investigation Technician to join an expanding consultancy who work on a variety of structural and civil projects, where you will have ample opportunity for further technical training and clear progression to Project Manager.

This growing and ambitious construction consultancy operates nationwide and specializes in structural investigation projects. They offer services to a multitude of clients, including structural and building investigations, inspections and surveys, as well as both intrusive and non-intrusive testing. Their ability to provide a full in-depth service to a variety of clients has led to consistent success since they established, which is why they are looking to add to their dynamic team.

In this role, you will take on a number of responsibilities, including traveling nationwide to different sites. While on-site, you will conduct inspections and investigations of buildings and structures by collecting samples of materials, mainly steel and concrete. You will perform both intrusive and non-intrusive testing on various projects, supervise other technicians, and ensure work is completed to a high standard. Additionally, you will liaise with clients to keep them updated on progress and results.

The ideal candidate will be a Structural Investigation Technician or someone from a material testing lab background, who holds a full UK driver's license and is willing to travel and stay away at different sites nationwide.

1. Lead Structural Technician
2. Previous experience as a material testing technician or investigation technician
3. Commutable distance to their office in Chesterfield and willing to travel nationwide
4. Full UK driver's license
