Lead Risk Engineer

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Lead Risk Engineer on a 12-month Contract, located in West Midlands.
Role Purpose
- To manage and develop the project's risk profile and contingency to the appropriate level of detail.
- Accountable for the development of the risk strategy and methodology of the project / scope of works.
- Work with the project team to identify the available information and the gaps and define what is needed to improve the quality of the available data for the purpose of defining the risks and produce the risk registers and contingency.
Responsibilities

1. Liaising with Project team to establish the project scope.
2. Identifying gaps in the available information that is essential for project cost estimation and risk.
3. Challenge the available detail and obtain the relevant missing information.
4. Track progress and manage the relevant governance reviews.
5. Collaboration with the wider team to establish the project baseline (scope, programme, cost estimate and contingency).

Essential Requirements

1. Utilities Risk experience.
2. Constructability knowledge & experience.
3. Ability to interpret technical & cost information.
4. Ability to run workshops & Self-starter.
