Job Summary
We are looking for a forward-thinking enthusiastic radiographer to lead CT services at Croydon Health Services. The successful candidate will lead the CT service ensuring that the service provided is safe and effective as well as meeting the relevant targets.
This is a key leadership role in the department and offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their managerial and organisational skills.
The CT service is comprised of 2 scanners at the main hospital site, one at the Purley site and coming in 2025 a new scanner in New Addington.
The Radiology department performs in excess of 250,000 all examinations per annum and has an active Clinical Governance programme. There are currently approximately 150 Staff in post in the Diagnostic Imaging department, including 26 Consultant Radiologists and Specialty Grade Doctors.
Croydon University Hospital is a large urban DGH situated in South London, serving the needs of a diverse population of 360,000. It has one of the busiest A&E departments in London. Croydon has easy access to both central London and the south coast.
