JOB: Lead Project Engineer
LOCATION: Llandudno
TERM: Permanent
SALARY: GBP 40,000 - GBP 60,000 (Dependent on experience; please advise what you're looking for)
My client manufactures bespoke equipment products for multiple industries. They are looking for a Lead Project Engineer to join their team in Llandudno on a permanent basis.
- HND/ Degree qualified in Engineering / a similar STEM subject
- 4 or more years' experience in Senior Project Engineering from working in a similar role or environment
- Experience with R&D
- Experience managing and leading teams of Engineers
- Experienced working in a highly regulated industry
- Proficient with using MS Office
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Flexible to travel as part of the role as required
- Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work
- Able to work well alone as well as in a team
- As a hands-on Project Engineer, you will be taking designs and implementing them
- Leading teams on projects
- Technical assessment, analysis, and review of full lifecycle projects
- Scheduling, cost, and quality control
- Line managing direct reports
- Mentoring others
- R&D of new projects and products
- Communicating with customers to ensure specifications are met
- Supporting the Project Manager
- Involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as and when required
- Preparing the required project-related documentation and drawings
