Job description

If you're a hands-on Lead Technician, or looking to take a step up and thrives on precision assembly, troubleshooting, and testing, this could be your perfect next move.

You will be joining a high-tech manufacturing team in this award-winning business working with some great people.

On a day to day basis you will:

  • Assemble & test electro-mechanical systems to exacting standards
  • Troubleshoot & diagnose faults at component level
  • Solder, wire & build PCBs, cables, and harness assemblies
  • Use test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators) to ensure performance
  • Collaborate with engineers to refine processes and solve technical challenges

What do we need from you:

  • Strong electro-mechanical assembly experience, including soldering, wiring, and mechanical build
  • Confidence in troubleshooting, fault finding and debugging, using relevant software
  • Understanding of basic programming - Python, C#, and Hex/Decimal/Binary conversions
  • Able to read schematic designs & working knowledge of PCB design software
  • Practiced in the use of standard test equipment (e.g. Oscilloscopes, DVMs, signal generators)
  • Understanding of analogue and digital video processing is a bonus
  • Familiarity with Cleanroom techniques
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and problem-solve
